Tiny nation has new ruler
The 11,0000 citizens of one of the world's smallest countries have a new leader.
The 12 lawmakers in the Pacific island nation of Tuvalu elected Faimalaga Luka their new prime minister.
He was chosen in a secret ballot at the island's parliament in the capital, Funafuti.
Mr Luka replaces Ionatana Ionatana, who died of a heart attack in December last year.
He takes control of the world's fourth-smallest state, a 10-square mile collection of nine coral atolls in the Pacific.
