Three killed after quake in China

An earthquake has killed three people in China.

Buildings collapsed and a huge crack opened in a dam.

The quake struck in Ganzi, shaking about 20 towns.

Up to five buildings collapsed, including a hospital. There was a massive split in the Hetaoping hydropower station's intake pipe, which shut the plant down.

The earthquake measured six on the Richter scale.
