Bulger's father condemns judges and MPs

The father of James Bulger has said judges and politicians have "blood on their hands".

Ralph Bulger attacked those who turned down his bid to keep Robert Thompson and Jon Venables in jail.

The British High Court ruled he had no right to challenge Lord Chief Justice Woolf's decision to free the pair.

Ralph Bulger said: "In my eyes James's blood is on the hands of everyone who agreed to let them go free. They have let them get away with murdering my son."

He added: "Our judges and politicians should hang their heads in shame for what they have done to British justice."

The grieving father said he may challenge the ruling under the European Convention of Human Rights.
