A rubbish collector convicted of handling Victoria Beckham's stolen clothes has been sentenced to 15 months in a young offenders' institution.

A rubbish collector convicted of handling Victoria Beckham's stolen clothes has been sentenced to 15 months in a young offenders' institution.

Mark Oliver, 20, of Stanwell, west London, was found guilty at Isleworth Crown Court on two counts of handling stolen goods last month.

A charge of theft was dismissed.

Judge John Crocker sentenced the unemployed man to 15 months on each of the charges, to run concurrently.

The judge said he will serve half the sentence then be released on licence.
