A garage owner in the US has sold himself a winning lottery ticket worth £9m.

A garage owner in the US has sold himself a winning lottery ticket worth £9m.

Mohamed El Nemr also got the £7,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket at his BP garage in Cincinnati.

He has gone on a holiday to Italy following his Super Lotto Plus win.

A garage worker says: "He played every week. He was one of his own best customers. Everyone who works here buys tickets here."

Ticket agents are allowed to buy tickets, but lottery employees are not.
