Businessman Joji Obara has been charged with abandoning a corpse after the body of Lucie Blackman was found near Tokyo.

Businessman Joji Obara has been charged with abandoning a corpse after the body of Lucie Blackman was found near Tokyo.

Lucie's dismembered body was discovered near Obara's seaside apartment.

Obara is also accused of drugging and raping several women, including a Canadian hostess and another Briton.

Lucie's body was identified by dental records. But Sky News reports DNA tests will still be carried out to confirm it is her.

Obara, 48, a businessman in Japan, has pleaded not guilty to the rapes, saying he had consensual sex with the women.
