Patron saint of the internet imminent
A Dutch bishop says the Vatican is about to appoint a patron saint of the internet.
Bishop Antoon Hurkmans says the Vatican has already chosen Saint Isidore of Seville who wrote the world's first encyclopedia.
Other candidates included Saint Rita of Cascia, St Phillip the Apostle, Padre Pio and the Archangel Gabriel.
St Isidore was a seventh century thinker whose encyclopaedia, called the Etymologies, summarised medicine, maths, rhetoric, grammar, history and theology.
