Smoke-filled passenger jet makes emergency landing
A smoke-filled plane with 240 passengers aboard has been forced to make an emergency landing in Sweden.
The plane landed at the Landvetter airport outside Gothenberg without any problems at about 9am Irish time.
A duty officer at the airport said a technical examination would be launched into what caused the smoke.
"They have landed without danger and there were no problems beyond the heavy build-up of smoke on board," the officer said.
Details of the flight were not immediately available.
