Kostunica promises cooperation over Milosevic

New Yugoslavia President Vojislav Kostunica today promised ‘‘step by step’’ cooperation with the United Nations war crimes tribunal.

But he refused to tell reporters whether that would eventually include extraditing former President Slobodan Milosevic for trial.
