Search for plane launched
A search is under way for a plane thought to have crashed in a Scottish mountain range.
Officers from Northern Constabulary and Grampian Police are searching in the Grampian Mountains between Dalwhinnie and Lochnagar.
They are expected to be joined by an RAF mountain rescue team.
A spokeswoman for Northern Constabulary says the alarm was raised that a plane could be in trouble early this afternoon.
The plane is believed to be a Cessna light aircraft. The spokeswoman said she did not know how many people were on board.
