Man goes on shooting spree after slot machine game

A man has shot three people before turning the gun on himself and commiting suicide at a US Gulf Coast casino.

The shooting occurred in a high-stakes slot machine area of Casino Magic in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Police say the man had been playing the slot machines before he suddenly began shooting. After he shot two men and one woman, he turned the gun on himself.

American Medical Response, an emergency medical unit, confirmed that the gunman is dead. The three shooting victims have been taken to hospital.

The nature of the three victims' injuries is not immediately known. The names of the victims and the shooter have not been released.
