First woman to appear before war crimes tribunal

Former Bosnian Serb leader Biljana Plavsic is set to become the first woman to appear before a United Nations war crimes tribunal.

Plavsic, 70, was a key member of the Serb leadership accused of orchestrating the wartime execution and deportation of entire populations of non-Serbs from parts of Bosnia.
