Syria is refusing to co-operate with the Lockerbie trial.

The court in Holland has heard that requests for documents have been turned down.

New evidence is believed to implicate a Palestinian liberation group in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103.

The trial resumed today after a month's adjournment.

Two Libyans are accused of the 1988 bombing.

Both plead not guilty.
