Workers sacked for smutty Bart Simpson e-mail

Ten workers have been sacked by an insurance company for sending smutty e-mails of Bart Simpson.

A company director at Royal &Sun Alliance Insurance intercepted the message that shows the cartoon character flashing his private parts at his naked sister, Lisa.

Another 77 workers at the office in Liverpool have been suspended while an inquiry is carried out.

Other e-mails uncovered during the investigation include one showing Bart's mother Marge performing oral sex on clean-living neighbour Ned Flanders. Another shows Kermit the Frog in a pose with Fozzy Bear.

The firm has refused to comment on the sackings, saying they are an "internal matter"
