Armed man forces way into TV station with family
A man armed with a gun and accompanied by his family has forced his way into the Lisbon headquarters of a Portuguese television station.
The man held his gun to the head of a security guard at the main door and said he was carrying a concealed bomb, reports national news agency Lusa.
He was with another man, a woman and two children, the report added.
Police evacuated the building and cordoned off the street.
The five people, who were not identified, then locked themselves in a downstairs room in the eight-storey building in central Lisbon where several hundred people work.
No injuries have been reported and the man's motives are not immediately clear.
The two channels of RTP, Radiotelevisao Portuguesa, are broadcasting normally after the incident at 0900 GMT.
No other details are available and it is not clear whether the five are still in the building.
