An Indian man who survived the Dubai plane crash last week has been dubbed the “world’s luckiest man” after he won a $1m lottery just six days later.

Mohammad Basheer Abdul Khadar was on the Emirates plane that crashed and burst into flames on the runway of Dubai’s airport last Wednesday.

He escaped along with all 300 on board minutes before the plane exploded in a huge fireball.
