Anne Hathaway urges mums not to give in to body shame

Anne Hathaway has urged mothers not to feel “shame” over their post-pregnancy bodies in a poignant Instagram post.

The Hollywood star, who gave birth to her first child five months ago, shared her message on the social networking site in a bid to encourage women to not feel pressured to lose their baby weight.

The Oscar-winning actress, 33, wrote: “There is no shame in gaining weight during pregnancy (or ever). There is no shame if it takes longer than you think it will to lose the weight (if you want to lose it at all).”
