QUIRKY WORLD ... Parents persevere as toddler flushes ring down the toilet

USA: A Washington family says sewage workers found a diamond in the rough after their four-year-old son flushed his mother’s wedding ring down the toilet.

Ryan and Anna Cornish reached out to Bothell city workers asking for help to retrieve the ring.

Water and sewer maintenance supervisor Ted Stonebridge says workers found the ring a day later after sifting through paper, rock and human waste.
