Did anyone else spot the TORNADO in Wicklow over the weekend?

When you think of tornados, you don’t really link them with Ireland - but it can happen.

Gerard McGauley was out near the Sally Gap in Wicklow on Saturday when something caught his eye - something that looked very like a tornado.

He managed to snap this photo.

And caught it in motion on video, from a distance.

His photo has been shared by EU Storm Maps who called it a "a rare capture".
