OrCam artificial-vision device ‘sees’ for visually impaired

People with very poor vision may benefit from a device that recognises faces, money, and text.

The OrCam artificial-vision device uses a camera attached to a pair of glasses to recognise objects.

The information is communicated to the wearer through an earpiece, according to a report in JAMA Opthalmology.
