Toddler ‘witch’ is now thriving

A Nigerian toddler who was found starved and riddled with worms after his family left him for dead has made a remarkable recovery, just eight weeks after he was found.

Video of the malnourished child, being given a sip of water by an aid worker, broke hearts when it was taken on January 31.

The boy, now known as Hope, was abandoned by his family because they thought he was a witch.
