Game of Thrones actor Stephen Dillane says show is too 'brutal'

Game of Thrones actor Stephen Dillane said the fantasy show is too “brutal” and “hardcore” to watch.

Dillane, 58, does not have to watch for much longer as he confirmed that his character Stannis Baratheon, who appeared to meet a sticky end at the hands of Brienne of Tarth in the series five finale, is dead “as far as I know”.

He told RadioTimes.com: “It’s pretty brutal, I couldn’t watch much of that anyway. It’s hardcore. Too tough for me. It’s just too painful.
