A gif created by NASA has shown the moon’s shadow crossing over the Earth during last week’s eclipse over Asia.

NASA captures incredible images of the moon's shadow reflecting on the Earth

The images were captured by the Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR) satellite and shows the moon’s shadow moving over Indonesia and Australia, all the while moving in the same direction as Earth rotates.

The gif was created from 13 images captured by the Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC) onboard the DSCOVR satellite.
