Kesha receives LGBT award

The Human Rights Campaign Nashville presented the singer with its Visibility Award.

It recognised her for using her spotlight to speak out against bullying of LGBT youth.

The honour comes just after Kesha lost an initial request, last month, to be freed from her contract with hitmaker, Dr Luke, who denies her claims and says she is smearing him to get out of her contract.

She also thanked her fans for their support, as she dealt with the legal dispute.
