Sharing a name with Hilary Clinton ‘a pain’

Hilary Clinton has revealed the US elections will make her life “miserable again” and that she was once slapped by a French police officer.

But these are not the views of the Democratic presidential candidate — they are of a 41-year-old woman of that name who lives in Scotland. With the omission of one ‘l’ distinguishing her from the former US secretary of state on paper, she said it is “never dull” sharing your name with a prominent figure.

“If I had a quid for every time someone asked me if my name was really Hilary Clinton, I would be a multimillionaire or a billionaire,” she said.
