‘Making a Murderer’ subject Steven Avery issues case appeal

Steven Avery, the convicted killer who is the subject of the Netflix series, Making a Murderer, has filed a wide-ranging appeal claiming that authorities used an improper warrant and that a juror was out to get him.

Avery, who is seeking to be released on bail, was convicted of first-degree intentional homicide in the death of photographer, Teresa Halbach, a decade ago.

Avery had been wrongfully convicted years earlier of rape, and served 18 years in prison.
