Five teens held after alleged Brooklyn playground rape of 18-year-old

The last of five teenagers accused of raping an 18-year-old woman in a Brooklyn playground last week has been taken into custody.

New York City police initially said one of the teens used a gun to order the girl’s father to leave the playground in the downtrodden Brownsville section of Brooklyn last Thursday night and then attacked her.

Four of the youths, who range in age from 14 to 17, were charged with a single count each of rape and sex abuse and two counts of participating in a criminal sex act, police reported.
