British teenager becomes youngest to cycle around the world

A British teenager may have become the youngest ever person to cycle around the world after completing the final leg of his epic 18,000-mile journey.

Tom Davies, 19, raised his arms in triumph after crossing the finish line in Battersea, south London. He was roared home by around 100 family, friends and others who have followed his exploits on his blog.

Tom has fled monkeys, been chased by dogs in Albania, and raced an emu in Australia during his six-and-a-half months in the saddle.
