DJ Neil Fox in court accused of multiple sex offences

DJ Neil Fox has appeared in court accused of sex offences involving six women. The allegations span more than two decades, from 1991 to 2014.

He denies nine offences against the complainants, who were then aged between 14 and 36. Fox — known as Dr Fox — appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, dressed in a dark-blue suit, white shirt and blue patterned tie, and sat taking notes.

Three of the six women only came forward with their claims after being approached by the police. Jonathan Caplan, QC, said: “There are six complainants. Three of them did not approach the police at all. In fact, the police approached three of the complainants.”
