One Direction fans rocked by Louis Tomlinson news
Publicist Simon Jones declined to comment on a People magazine report saying 23-year-old Tomlinson is expecting a child with American stylist Briana Jungwirth.
Americaâs People magazine broke the story, quoting a âmutual friendâ of the pair saying: âLouis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother.
âIt was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer.â The pair are not thought to be in a relationship at the moment.
The Sun â which ran the headline âOne Conceptionâ â said that Tomlinson went on dates with Jungwirth in May after breaking up with girlfriend of four years Eleanor Calder.
Fans responded on Twitter using the hashtag #OhNoLouis, and one wrote a song called âNo Birth Controlâ teasing the boy band star.

On the streets of London, reaction ranged from shock to disbelief.
âIs it an accident?â said 16-year-old Australian fan Tara Kay. âThatâs crazy.â
Clara Foxonet, a 16-year-old fan from France, refused to believe it.
âIt canât be real! Itâs not possible,â she said.
Australian fan Kiri Deane-Spread Speir, 17, said the news was âa shock. But I am not going to get angry ... If he is happy, I am happy.â
And 18-year-old Solveig Diers from Germany wondered how the news would affect the bandâs carefree image and its popularity with teen and preteen girls.
âIt doesnât fit into their perfect picture of a boy group,â she said.
The chart-topping band was formed in 2010 after five teenagers â Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik â auditioned individually for the British TV talent show The X Factor. Simon Cowell had the idea of putting them together as a boy band.
Malik quit the group earlier this year.
