Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift rise to top of highest paid couples list

Calvin Harris’s romance with Taylor Swift has helped them knock superstar couple Beyonce and Jay Z from the number one spot in the Forbes list of the highest paid celebrity couples.

The Scottish DJ and Shake It Off singer are reported to be have earned $146m (€131m) in the past year, thanks to successful music careers and lucrative advertising deals.

Harris, who has scored number one hits with Summer and Sweet Nothing, recently referred to Swift as “my girl” in a tweet congratulating her for changing “the entire music industry”.
