QUIRKY WORLD ... Animal fails to outfox rubbish as it undergoes op to remove plastic tub from neck

ENGLAND: A fox cub has undergone a delicate procedure to remove a plastic tub which became stuck round its neck in a seaside town.

The animal, pictured below right, which is about seven weeks old, was spotted by concerned residents, running around with its head wedged in the tub in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

Rescuers from East Sussex Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service turned out to help as the cub started to become hungry and dehydrated.
