David Walliams and model wife Lara Stone split
The comic, who shot to fame in Little Britain, tied the knot with the Dutch model in 2010 and she gave birth to a son, Alfred, two years ago.
A spokeswoman for Walliams would not comment on the report.
The Sun said Stone had quit the family home in London, taking their son and dog, Bert, after they agreed to a trial separation.
The couple married at Claridge’s hotel in central London with guests including Denise Van Outen, film-maker Sam Taylor-Johnson, actress Barbara Windsor and James Corden.
Walliams, a regular on TV, has also established a career as the author of a series of best-selling children’s books.
The Sun said that David, 43, was “devastated” after agreeing to the separation.
A source close to the 43-year-old comedian was reported to have said: “David has been putting on a brave face.
“But people close to him are very worried because they know he’s devastated.
“David hopes it is a blip and that they can get the marriage back on track somehow, especially seeing as there is a child involved. He is still fiercely protective of Lara.”
