Sheeran ‘off to good start’ with Brit

Last night’s Brit Awards kicked off with a wave of dancing waiters welcoming hosts Ant and Dec to the stage before Taylor Swift became the first act to perform.

The American star, wearing a short black suit, opened the show with her track Blank Space.

The ceremony, shown live on ITV, was held at the O2 Arena in London.
