Malala urges leaders to help free kidnapped schoolgirls

Nobel prizewinner Malala Yousafzai has called on world leaders to do more to free hundreds of Nigerian schoolgirls kidnapped 300 days ago.

The education activist criticised the “weak” response since the girls were taken by terrorist group Boko Haram in Chibok in April last year.

The 17-year-old said the response to their plight would have been different had they come from more influential backgrounds.
