Events to remember the Holocaust

Thousands of people will gather at events around the globe tomorrow to remember the millions killed in the Holocaust and in subsequent genocides.

Senior politicians, dignitaries and religious leaders will join survivors in London for a commemorative event, 70 years after the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Israeli president Reuven Rivlin is on his first official visit to the US, where he will address a UN session marking 70 years since the end of the Holocaust.
