Ecstasy pill deaths: man due in court

Police have urged people to hand in the red triangular pills marked with a distinctive Superman logo after a 37-year-old man became unwell in Ipswich, England, yesterday, having taken one of the tablets.

It follows the deaths of two young men in the town on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day, and a third man in Rendlesham, Suffolk.

Adrian Lubecki, 19, from Ipswich, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs (ecstasy) and possession with intent to supply a class B drug, Suffolk Police said.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court.
