It can be a bit uncomfortable to think about the airplanes we use to head on holidays are made out of two million bit of metal bolted together.

Among the fun facts: to test the engines, they shoot several dead ducksinto the jet to make sure it can handle a flock of birds. Oh, and the wings are made out of tape. No, really.

The fascinating video deals with Airbus, who provide most of the planes for Aer Lingus and many other airlines.
