Rock act The Who have had to postpone a pair of major greatest hits shows at London’s O2 Arena after lead singer Roger Daltrey was ordered to rest by doctors.

The singer is suffering from a throat infection and has been advised to take a break, which has meant shows due to take place today and tomorrow have been put back to March 22 and 23.

The band has suggested that the shows over the coming months on their Who Hits 50 tour could be their last major live shows.
