Italian woman sues ‘Peppa Pig’ animators

An Italian woman has launched a €100,000 lawsuit against British cartoon show Peppa Pig, claiming a goat which featured in the show has caused her embarrassment at work as she shares the same name.

Gabriella Capra is seeking the damages from the creators of the show over its Gabriella Goat character (Capra is Italian for goat) after allegedly being subjected to a tirade of jokes in the office with colleagues bleating at her.

Capra, 40, claims she has been “teased and made an object of scorn,” since the introduction of the goat character.
