EU commissioner under fire over ‘stupid’ celeb nudes

Incoming EU Digital Commissioner Guenther Oettinger was roundly ridiculed after he blamed "stupid" celebrities for having their private nude pictures hacked and spread online.

One German newspaper said it appeared “the new post may be too challenging for him”.

In recent weeks a large number of images of stars and models have been snatched from Apple’s iCloud and posted online.
