Radcliffe, 25, who played the schoolboy wizard in eight films from the age of 11, told the Mail on Sunday the role was a “blessing” but bemoaned: “The moments I’m not as proud of, mistakes other actors get to make in rehearsal rooms or at drama school, are all on film for everyone to see.”

The English actor, who has branched out into stage, screen and television roles since the end of the series in 2011, said he hated watching the sixth film, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, because he was “very one-note” and “complacent”.
