Tour de Selfie: Fans warned to stop jumping in front of cyclists for selfies

Tour de France competitors have warned of the potential risks to spectators who choose to stand in the road with their backs to the speeding cyclists - all for the sake of a quick selfie.

Many Twitter users have come under fire for posting #TDFselfies. Selfie lover @zodoyle has received the majority of the criticism for posting her picture and saying she "nearly died talking #TDFselfie".
