Is this the worst customer service experience ever?

Car salesman tracks down dissatisfied customer on Facebook, calls her a ’little c***’

Natalie James bought a car from Go Vauxhall in London last year from Gary Brown but afterwards made a complaint about his behaviour at the time of their interaction. Gary lost £200 commission from the sale of the black Corsa and harboured quite a bit of resentment towards his unhappy customer.

A few days ago he saw his opportunity for revenge.

As it happens, Gary and Natalie share a mutual friend on Facebook. Once Gary realised the connection, his tirade of abuse began.

He sent private messages to Natalie expressing his anger at the loss of his commission over a year ago. Gary, who left GoCroyden last November, called her a "complaining little slag" and described her as "a moaning little c***".

Natalie tweeted a screenshot of the conversation, which has gained huge attention on the social media site.

Vauxhall has reacted to the issue, which has "disgusted" the company, on their own Twitter account.

They have also added more detail to the situation in response to many tweets.

Gary tweeted a defense of his messages, claiming he was confused about Natalie's original complaint.

"I was gutted when you asked to speak to another salesman and had no idea what I had done to upset you so much.

"Obviously that doesn't excuse my message yesterday, so I apologise for that."

Gary left the Croyden branch of Go Vauxhall last November. “I don’t believe I’m suited to that career,” he said.

Natalie responded to criticism on Twitter. Many remarked that she may have initially made a wrongful complaint, to which she responded: "there was a perfectly justifiable reason for my complaint otherwise I would never have done so."

She now seems happy with Vauxhall's handling of the situation and said it's "all reported and in the hands of the police."
