Frostie, the internet’s favourite little goat, has died

Internet sensation Frostie the Snowgoat has died.

Edgar's Mission last night announced the death of the four-legged legend in a heartfelt blog post entitled 'Why?'.

"As the little guy made his last gasps of breath he looked into my tear filled eyes as I begged him to stay, I told him I loved him and would do so forever more.

"It was not until I knew his spirit had passed that I would scream ‘why’ at the top of my lungs and sob inconsolably into his warm, sweet smelling white fur."

A post-mortem examination revealed that the little guy's spinal column was "riddled with abscesses."

Frostie became an online sensation after a video of him in a custom-made wheelchair gained worldwide attention for both the animal and the charity.

Months later the charity made the happy announcement that Frostie ditched his wheelchair to do a little dance.

Rest in peace Frostie.
