Rare conjoined twins die after three-week battle

The parents of rare Australian conjoined twins Faith and Hope have thanked their supporters after the death of their girls.

Simon Howie and Renee Young were with their twins, who were almost three weeks old, when they died at the Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney.

A hospital spokeswoman said they died just after noon yesterday.
