Katie Price ditches husband over ‘affair’
Price announced on Twitter she is ending her 16-month marriage to stripper husband Kieran Hayler.
The 35-year-old glamour girl turned businesswoman announced only days ago that she was pregnant with her fifth child — her second with Hayler, who is her third husband.
In a series of messages she posted online, Price told her fans: “Sorry to say me and kieran are divorcing. him and my best friend jane pountney bee having a full blown sexual affair for 7 months (sic).”
Airing her upset via Twitter, she wrote: “No human being deserves this especially being 6 months pregnant.” Another message added: “Worse pain in the world.”
She vented her anger, adding: “’Kieran is a disgusting human being doing this after I’ve just had a baby and still doing it till I caught them.”
A spokeswoman for Price did not wish to comment when asked about the messages posted on Price’s account.
Price and Pountney have been friends for 20 years and have often being photographed socialising together. Pountney, aged 49, was unavailable for comment last night.
Price has previously been married to singer and TV personality Peter Andre and the Celebrity Big Brother contestant and cage-fighter Alex Reid. She and Reid separated in January 2011 after being married for less than a year.
She and Hayler had their first child together, Jett, in August last year. She also has two children, Junior and Princess, from her four-year marriage to Andre and a son, Harvey, from a relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke.
In an interview last year Price said her new husband will get “fuck all” of her reported £45m (€55m) fortune if they split. “It’s a shame, in a way, because he is lovely, and I want to spoil him, but I’ve said to him that I’ve been taken advantage of so bad in the past that unfortunately he’s going to get fuck all from me.”
