The alleged victim of an attack in a nightclub has posted a selfie of her injuries in a bid to raise funds for charity.

Jeanne Marie Ryan from Oxford, UK published the image on her Facebook page this week.

The post said: "I am sorry cancer research, but my #nomakeupselfie is for a different cause".
