Beckham shines in 'Only Fools & Horses' sketch as Sport Relief breaks record

Goldenballs joined Del Boy and Rodney in a special episode of
titled 'Beckham in Peckham'in aid of Sport Relief and revealed that he lost sleep in the run up to filming.“The day of filming startd off with a slightly sleepless night, going over my script,” Beckham told Radio Times.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder acquitted himself well, frequently poking fun at his perceived lack of intelligence.
In one scene, Beckham reveals his ignorance of all things artistic as the three amigos mull over Rodney’s school qualifications - with the footballer citing children’s presenter Tony Hart as his favourite artist.
He then has a Del Boy-esque moment as he explains the unusual shades he’s sporting.
And of course you couldn’t take the mickey out of Beckham without having a dig at his, at times, questionable fashion sense.
The sketch revolved around Rodney and Del Boy trying to flog a shipment of signed Beckham underpants, with Rodney the stand-in model.
The piece ends with Beckham recreating Del Boy’s famous bar fall, seemingly in tribute to the late Roger Lloyd Pack who played Trigger - a central character in the original scene.
It is thought Pack, who died of pancreatic cancer aged 69 in January, was set to star in the piece before his untimely death.
Another highlight of the night was a rendition of Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan’s classic duet
for which they were joined by comedian David Walliams. The event, hosted by Fearne Cotton and Gary Linekar, raised a record-breaking £51.2m, eclipsing the previous best of £50.4m set in 2012.
