Columbia's most obese baby weighs same as 6-year-old

The Colombian baby tips the scales at three stone, making him the country’s most obese baby.
Santiago has suffered medical issues since birth and has been hospitalised multiple times.
But hope might be on its way as Santiago has been taken in by a charity where he will be treated for his condition.
His mother Eunice Fandiño wrote to the Chubby Hearts Foundation seeking help for her boy. The charity then arranged to take him to Bogota to get him the help he needs.
“Likely, what he will need is a long-term treatment, education, healthy food, and when he is older physical activity,” said doctor Cesar Ernesto Guevar.
“Otherwise, in the future, he could suffer from diabetes, high blood pressure and severe problems with his joints,’ he added.
Fandiño reportedly said her own ‘ignorance’ led to her son’s weight, admitting she just fed him every time he cried. She has promised to follow doctor’s orders to get her child healthy.
